It is not a cookie cutter, one size fits all approach. Your private one on one lesson begins aboard the 33' cruising sailboat Palmetto Tide. The experience is highly personalized to meet your specific goals and objectives, whether you are a beginner or an advanced student. The prime directive is to keep it fun and enjoyable. In this comfortable atmosphere you can relax and excel, gaining a wealth of knowledge in a short period of time.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Captain Jack holds a bachelor of science degree and a Masters license issued by the United States Coast Guard. He is an accomplished life long sailor with extensive knowledge and experience, having sailed an array of boats working as a yacht broker, a yacht delivery captain and a charter boat captain. His travels as a private cruising sailor have taken him from the eastern seaboard to Bermuda, the Azores, Europe, the Caribbean, Panama, the Pacific, the west coast of the United States and many of the Bahamian Islands. In 1991, he began his own charter boat business at Bohicket Marina. Over this time he has given countless sailing lessons to people from all walks of life and levels of experience. The results have been fantastic. His clients come back again and again as they move up the sailing continum from novice to world cruiser. To quote Captain Jack, "I will teach you the basics of sailing in an afternoon, then you can continue to enjoy, improve, and refine your talents for the rest of your life."
